Working through the preface of Blair's book. I might be a little more picky than I should be, but I found that loosening up and not being super critical helped with the 'life' of the face. Example F kinda has more 'oopmf' to it. I also like H and the shape of E.

Some outside practice from a Jetsons still I found online, and a Daffy pic that I have to search for again. (Had it on the work computer)

I seem to be able to construct these easier, but I'm not sure if I'm conturing more instead. :\

Looks like I pushed his head back a little farther then I should have. He's looking at a completely different angle now, but still focused on the right part. The general gesture of the body seems right, but obviously there are little flaws here and there that could use a little perfecting.

I will be adding some scanned comparison shots soon. This is some more practice from the preface of Blair's book.

Here I started on the bear from the preface of Preston Blair's book. I automatically notice I have a tendency to 'right side up' things and make them exactly vertical or horizontal. I can see it pulling on the face of the characters. I got looser with E F and G but I still need to break myself of this. Also, I sometimes backtrack on my strokes, which I think may be hurting the layout of the form. More to come.
